Introduction

The D-Series transcoding cards are the industry's first high density affordable voice transcoding cards designed for optimum voice quality for low to high density systems, offering from 30 to 2000 transcoding sessions (product dependent) in one compact 2U form factor! 

• Cards are Ethernet based
• Configurations
  • D100 (30-400 sessions): available in either PCI or PCI-express
  • D500 (400-2,000 sessions): PCI-express and 2 RJ45 Ethernet interfaces, all on one card
  • D150 (30-400 sessions): 1 RJ45 Ethernet interface
• All applicable PCI interface cards (D100) will be recognized as Micrel (ks8842_pci) ethernet device by system
• All applicable PCI Express interface cards (D100/D500) will be recognized as Broadcom BCM5723 (tg3) ethernet device by system
• Cards with RJ45 interface (D150/D500) can be connected directly to the network, bypassing host machine resources
• Designed with a general SNGTC API interface that can be used to develop transcoding applications
• All media to and from D-series cards will be carried via RTP/IP
• Codec licenses are fully upgradable
• G729 codec included with all D-series cards
