1- Vega side:
- Connect to Vega through the GUI
- Navigate to ‘Expert Config’ and choose ‘Logging’ from the left menu
- In the SNMP Communities define a name for the community and check off ‘Get’, ‘Set, and ‘Traps’
- In the SNMP manager set the SNMP server IP address and subnet mask
2- SNMP server side:
- load either V1 or V2 of the MIB files into your SNMP server based on its version.
