  1. The Windows driver install continually fails, is there an alternative?

    1. I've never really had a problem with it on Win 7 thru 10, as long as the baud rate is set correctly you should be fine?

      I downloaded the exe install.

      1. Does yours just work out the box without driver install?

We've tried RJ45 to USB serial via Putty, and RJ45 to COM1 via Putty and HyperTerminal but it fails to make a connection.

Obviously we just want to get a connection to the console to get the ipconfig.  Falling at the first hurdle here!

  2. Is that for the USB - RJ45 serial?  Can you point me in the right direction for that install?

    That's what I used - worked well.

Let me know how you get on.

  4. be aware - USB Comm port may not necessarily be configured as port 1,  more likely 3 or 4.

    1. Thanks for your help today.  Can get on the console fine now.  Having trouble with the GUI now but that can wait until tomorrow.

      1. Good stuff,  we have recently purchased three pbxact 1000s which has been a learning curve but they're coming together nicely. If you have any probs give me a shout as I may be able to help. I am in the UK.
